Ok, so they’re not really deadly, but they aren’t as cute & cuddly as many people would believe. Since the ever popular, and almost viral ‘Compare the Meerkat’ ads started appearing in 2009, meerkats have become ever more popular with the general population. Animals vs. Hurricanes

So since Hurricane Sandy hit yesterday, it got us thinking here about how animals in the wild as well as in captivity deal with storms like these. A lot of our animals react very differently to wet conditions (i’m not comparing the conditions to a hurricane!).
