The Leopard Gecko is found in places such as Afghanistan and India, they eat a variety of insects and are nocturnal. Like many lizards the Leopard Gecko has the ability to lose its tail if it is grabbed by a predator and needs to escape. They have a chubby tale where they store food encase they are unable to catch anything while hunting. Their spotted skin helps them to camouflage in their natural environment making them well hidden from predators. Leopard Geckos make popular pets yet there is still little known about them in the wild.
*Leopard Geckos eat their skin shed to avoid being tracked by possible predators!
