Corn snakes come from parts of America such as; Florida, Louisiana and Kentucky. They eat a variety of small mammals and birds and generally hide under logs and rocks during the day. Corn snakes are often underground travelling through borrows made by rodents in search of their prey. A Corn Snake can live up to 23 years in captivity, this life span is thought to be much less in the wild.
*The name ‘Corn’ snake is thought to have come from the chequered markings on the underside of its belly which resembles the pattern of corn kernels.
Charlie the Corn Snake is great for all types of events and he is especially great for the snake feeding demonstration. He is entertaining because of his speed and his love for climbing.
